Throughout history, the church has seen good days and difficult times. We believe that the best days of the Church are still ahead of us. There is an openness and a hunger in the people of today.

Their attraction to spiritual themes in music, film, television, and the arts are reflective of their desire for something beyond themselves; something significant that gives their life meaning and purpose. There is a desperate need for hope in the midst of troubling times and broken trust from our leaders.

We perceive that despite the problems and challenges of our day, the potential for reaching people and making a significant impact on our culture has never been greater. We believe that the present-day followers of Christ have been raised up for "such a time as this."

The people of God have the life-transforming message of hope that our world is in desperate need of receiving. Today is a great time to be alive and to be a fruitful follower of Christ.

4. Using their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities in cultivating and employing a Missional Imagination.
